Volleyball Training Drills

QUEENS OF THE COURT
• 3 versus 3, the winning team stays and the losing team is replaced

TIMED PEPPER
• The whole team executes partner pepper for an allotted amount of time, if a ball drops then the team performs a consequence

ONE-HAND BALL CONTROL
• Pass the ball to self using only one hand/arm, switch hand/arms after a certain amount of repetitions

RAPID FIRE
• Fast pace drill that requires hitting off a coach’s toss quickly, return to the end of the line after each hit

PIT DRILL
• Can vary this fast-paced drill to include 1-3 people on the court, balls are fed to players through different formats such as hits, throws, tips, etc.  Players need to hustle to reach a repetition goal to finish to the drill.
